Hey Boomers!
Welcome to the first completed issue of The STC Masterpieces - currently Yorkshire's only attempt at recreating
the legendary Sonic the Comic in a sprite format. Stay cool, things have been getting intense for the past 12 years!
The hottest comic on the video game scene, STC brought your favourite Sega game characters to life in fantastic
comic strip adventures. The STC Masterpieces is trying to recreate the magic, starring fan favourites from STCOSSCACC and
the official Sonic the Comic Online message board! You ever wanted to star in one of STC's strips? Now you can!
Everything restarts here, with everyone's new favourite ninja, Sin Scorpion, kicking up a storm in 'The
Fear Pavilion' with regular lunatics, Team Dark, taking the original places of the Golden Axe crew. Of course, it wouldn't
be 'Sonic' the Comic without the world-famous, Sonic the Hedgehog (no, not the black one)!
That's not all. STC Masterpieces is recreating the features, competitions and free gifts of the past age
- this issue's being the sheer magic of seeing STC once again.
Then there's us, Megadroid, old rusty veteran of STC (Hey, less of the veteran -- MD) and myself, Archeoleus
Pike, hosting your way through The STC Masterpieces. We'll be taking you back through the old levels of video game excitement
and the new news - Big Time is back, Boomers! Oh yeah, this is the Control Zone, exactly the same as it used to be, launching
you back into the world of STC and your favourite characters. It's got charts, news and of course, myself.
We want to hear from you as well! If Speedlines and the Graphics Zone are to be wholly recreated, then
I need your help! Let me know what you think of the site, your nostalgia and your missed chance to get pictures posted in
the comic, then send me your own artwork! It's your chance to get famous and be a budding artist once again!

Calling all Hotshots!
We at STC Masterpieces are looking for pro gamers to show off their stuff. Over the course of the next few
issues, I'll be releasing challenges to test your ability at games old and new. Get practising, the first challenge will be
announced in #2 and you can bet it'll be a Sonic release!
