8/8/8? Jeepers! Anyhow, as promised, we've been provided an article by Rio who tells us how he feels about the state
of the Sonic fanbase and his role in the community. With a day to go till the ground-breaking Summer of Sonic convention,

Greetings, friends and foes! Arch here and I've updated the site with a couple of tidbits. I've added quite a few issues
to the archives if you've been missing out. The 'Latest Issue' page has gone, so I don't think it'll be too hard to head to
the newest link in the archives, right? On that matter, Imageshack stopped working halfway through, so there's a couple of
new issues missing.
On the game front, we've got a review of SEGASonic the Hedgehog for the arcades. There's also a preview of Sonic and
the Black Knight and it aint pretty. We're hoping for more reviews and previews so if you're interested in submitting to The
Mobian, just give me a bell!
Keep watching The Mobian; we've got a review of Super Smash Bros. Brawl (starring Mr Hedgehog himself), a preview of
Sonic Chronicles and an article from STCOSSCACC's Rio who'll giving his an insight into this year's Summer of Sonic convention
in London. If you're lucky, you'll see a regular feature on this summer's Olympic Games (with a twist) and an old project
may get a slight revival. It's all going on, so don't miss a thing!

Nothing to add here, my loyal readers, other than sorry again for abandoning this place. I've only created 2 issues since
last time, university's kicking my arse. Anyway, for the next week or so I'll be updating reviews of games plus The Mobian's
preview of the upcoming game 'Sonic and the Secret Rings'. Hopefully, look out for other new features winging their way to
the multi award-winning The Mobian Sprite Comic website!
Oh, and happy (belated) New Year, everyone.

It's another good 6 months for The Mobian Sprite Comic as the 5th Spriters' Choice Awards rears it's twice-yearly
head at STCOSSCACC. The Mobian retains coveted titles such as 'Best Overall Comic' and 'Best Ongoing Storyline'. This year,
added surprises came for 'Best Script' for The Mobian #105 (where Retro imagines Lakit is with him) and the hotly-contended
'Best Interpretation of YOUR Fan Character) returns to The Mobian.
But, of course, The Mobian Sprite Comic retains the 'Best Website' for it's umpteenth year running. Lord knows how, I'm
obviously just running off what I've built up in the past since I barely update now. Thanks to all that voted though, and
congratulations to new winners such as Maya and Sonicchimp. A small round of interviews may go round to commemorate what may
be the final set of Awards...
Cast list is slowly getting updated after a 2 year wait. Not many pictures up yet, but the descriptions are the most
important anyway. Got loads to do yet though, so....

It's so rare that I actually update this site and write a snippet of news here that there's no point having the News
Archive system. I'll keep the old pages there, but it's likely I'll just go onto a new page whenever I feel like it. Not that
anyone cares about that, but woo....
So issues are coming about slowly lately. It seems like yonks since I began work on #100...then scrapped it and went
for a much simpler comic. It's only 9 issues on after a few months and you know I've been lazy. However, I'm about to start
on the Guest Comic Trail (see STCOSSCACC for details) and I'm also working on a STCOSSCACC Comic Timeline to coincide with
the 5th Spriters' Choice Awards. More of that in a couple of weeks.
Anyway, #109's up. I'll be doing a bit of stuff around here if I expect to keep my Best Website title (which I pride
higher than all others) so watch this space. Or STCOSSCACC, where I'll point you to this space.
Also, since I've been absent, I've come back to find random visitors posting on my guestbook. Thanks for dropping by
everyone :) and I'll get any broken links and missing spritesheets back up to scratch ASAP.

A general interview with Retro for STCOSSCACC here. I'm also in the midst of a 120-page comic/sprite book to commemorate nothing at all, so I might post some tidbits and previews
surrounding that in time. That is all.

So.... Two months since I spoke to you all. Two months since I posted any new comics. Two months since....ah let's cut
this crap. Sorry for being away so long, guys and gals. I haven't been away from the writing business, just couldn't be arsed
to update the site. You may be pleased to know that there is now all issues from #80 to #89 posted in all it's glory, with
the start of a new story arc, involving Shadow and the Drakons. Oooo!
'The Mobian 2' story was discontinued for crappiness.
I've also posted up The Mobian's Official Sonic Rush review, courtesy of friend of The Mobian, Blizzard. I requested
help with writing one yonks ago and he said he'd do it if nobody else did. Months later and he reminded me of that, so theres
we goes. Cheers, Blizz.
I might get round to drawing up the next Mobian issue tonight, but it's snowing buckets outside and I want a piece
of that snowman! See ya, all.
